Who I Am

I'm Brighten Hayama, a Master's student at UCSD in the Computer Science and Engineering department. I recently graduated in 2025 from UCSD with my Bachelor's in Mathematics - Computer Science, and a minor in Data Science.

Work and projects

What I Work On

I am passionate about everything related to machine learning and AI (...I mean, who isn't these days?). More specifically, I like to read about recent developments in machine learning interpretability. Recently, I've become enamored by computer vision and hope to work on more vision related projects.

Interests and life

Hobbies

In my free time, I enjoy playing and thinking about all sorts of competitive games. My favorites at the moment are chess, CS2, and VALORANT. I also enjoy playing basketball. I like to watch the NBA and UFC as well.
